HP X705W USB 3.0 PENDRIVE UNBIASED REVIEW

Hi friends,welcome to the review of HP X705W USB 3.0 pen drive. It  launched in 16 January 2014. It is a slim pen drive with a little high length.It has a premium looks,with a great metal body.It has a blue L.E.D. at it's tail. It claims to provide upto 80 MBps data transfer speeds.

Looks
It has a great black colored metallic body,which looks very nice. It has dotted finish. The blue L.E.D. at it's tail glows whenever data transfer occurs.The dimensions of the pen drive are 12.2 x 9.6 x 1.4 cm. The plug fits the USB slot nicely,neither too tight,nor too loose.

Performance
The first time you plug in the pen drive,the drivers installs automatically.We tested this pen drive in USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 pen drives in both laptop and desktop,and we got these findings.In case of laptop,in USB 2.0 port,the read speed was about  and write speed was about ,and on using USB 3.0 port, the read speed was about and the write speed was about . And in case of desktop PC,in USB 2.0 port,the read speed was about  and write speed was about ,and on using USB 3.0 port, the read speed was about and the write speed was about .
   [Note] : The USB 3.0 pen drives are backward compatible,and will work just fine with USB 2.0 ports.

Pro's
A few reasons why you should buy this pen drive are

  • Great speeds at a much lower price range.
  • Premium looking metal body.
  • A blue colored L.E.D. which looks great.
  • Average Read speed 115 MBps on usb 3.0 and on usb 2.0 it was 45 MBps
  • Average Write speed 25 MBps on usb 3.0 and on usb 2.0 it was 20 MBps
Con's
The only con of this pen drive is it's long length,else,everything is very great.
